Transitioning from local safepoint to remote

Ultimately, I want my safepoint stored on a compatible device on a remote network. To do this, can I create a safepoint on a USB device connected to my WD My Cloud first, and then copy/save the safe point at the remote location? In that way, I would reduce the network data requirement. TIA … Greg

Yes, this is possible. Just make sure you hard drive is formatted properly prior to starting the Safepoint.

Thank you Feragui. I would like to store a safe point at the current point in time and then create another one which is automatically updated. To do this, is it OK to simply duplicate the current safepoint with a new name? Would both safepoints be capable of being restored? TIA … Greg
