Unable to access WDMyCloud after Win10 update

Since Windows updated from build 720 to 752 on my desktop computer I have been unable to access my WDMyCloud 2TB NAS. It was mapped as a network drive but now, whilst it will appear under “Network” in file explorer, I can no longer map it back into it’s previous place.
I’m sure I’m not alone since I have read various hints and tips to correct this issue but, so far, none have been successful.
I’ve tried uninstalling the update but it fails with an error, so I am stuck. I can open the drive’s front page from a web browser but I can no longer access the files!

Help, please!

Ian

Is SMB1.0/CIFS enabled? Microsoft disables it in recent updates to Windows 10.

Check to make sure Network Type is set to Private and not Public.

Also check any security/anti virus software to see if it may be blocking access to the local network.

Thanks, Bennor - it appears it was an issue with my firewall, after all! Access now fully restored! Thank you!
