Unable to connect Mybook Live to a remote desktop through wifi

I have the WD Mybook Live physically connected to a router, which is pysically connected to a desktop running under Win10. I have another computer that connects via wifi, also running under Win10.
Until yesterday I could access the disk from that computer via wifi, that worked through a range extender. Yesterday I substituted the extender with a Deco-Link mesh. Since then the remote computer is unable to connect to the WD drive.
Please help to resolve the issue.

Thank you.

Hi @Samgilon,

We regret to inform you that “My Book Live” is an End of Life product and also we have not tested this device on Windows 10.

However, I suspect that SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support has been disabled on your Windows 10 computer. However, in order to resolve the issue, I request you to kindly enable SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing support and share us the outcome, so that I can assist you accordingly.

Please follow the mentioned link to Enable SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support on Windows 10:-

Also, please refer to the mentioned link about how to map a WD Network Drive on Windows 10:-

I appreciate your patience and understanding.

Hi,
The solution turned out to be much simpler. I found a way to map a drive via wifi.
Anyway, I wish to thank you for your kind attention.

Sam
