I’m using the latest beta and I’m starting to get the error “unable to play selected file” more and more. If I try playing a different file and then go back playing the original one it works fine. Sometimes all I have to do is wait a little and the file plays fine. It happens both with mp3s and mkv. They come from an external drive. I suspect it takes longer to initialize the drive or something. I have played the same files on the WD before plenty of times so the files are fine and, indeed, they work after a few tries or a longer wait. Also, the menus and navigation seems sluggish on this beta compared to before
Like the man who said to the doctor “Doc, it hurts when I do this” I’d give you the same advice – don’t do that (don’t use the beta).
