Unable to select folders for backup

Hi,

When trying to select files or folders for backup in “File backup mode” I am unable to tick of anything. When click on the box next to a file or folder, it is not ticked - nothing happens. It is only highlighted for a moment.

I can see all folders and all files, but am unable to choose anything for backup.

I have tried to reinstall, but it does not help.

Software Version is 2.0.1 and hardware is 2TB My Passport (WDBY8L0020BBK), Windows 7 64-bit

Try switching back to category backup and then again to file backup mode.

Restart the computer afterwards.

I was having problems backing up, and when I called in they told me to make sure that I had all my windows updates, and not just .net 4.0, but .net 3.5 had to be turned on in programs.  That seemed to take care of it.  you might post a picture, so we can see what it looks like.

.Net 3.5 is turned on under features, and I also have .net 4 installed.

I have tried to switch between category and file backup and restart, also complete reinstall - but it does not work. In category backup I can tick the boxes, but nothing is backed up. If I select documents, no documents is found and 0 kb is backed up.
