Hi, I just wanted to report that the last month my EX2 Ultra was scanning continuously and file transfer speeds were very very slow. This happened after 1. the last firmware update, 2. I turned on the recycling bin
I could not access the dashboard for a day and the quick reset did not work or even respond. I unplugged the unit completely and plugged it back in. Dashboard access was restored and speedy. I went ahead and turned off the recycling bins and cloud sharing and copied some more files onto the NAS and it was fast again.
Any ideas why this is so? Does it have to do with the scanning issue talked about in the Before you return your unit read this post? Do I need to leave on oplock?
