Hello!
I am looking to upgrade from my current NAS setup of a 2tb MyBook Live and 3tb MyCloud to a single NAS solution.
I’m looking to build in a little redundancy and some room for expansion as well so I’ve been having a look around the EX4100 and the PR4100.
The drives I use at the moment are almost 100% used for streaming media around the home, to a couple of tablets, my PC, a Blu Ray player and a TV. Normally not more than one stream at a time.
The PR4100 is quite appealing but I’m not sure I’d honestly use it in enough ways to justify the rather large price jump over the EX4100.
Can anyone say, based on the usage indicated above, that the PR4100 would be a worthwhile investment over the EX4100?
Also I am planning on buying whatever I do get diskless and adding storage as and when needed.
