I am running out of space on my 1tb My Book & also want to put my music & photo’s on it so that I can access them without having to have my Desktop powered on.
Would it be best to buy another My Book Live (2TB) or a My Cloud (2TB), linked to each other by USB cable. Would I be able to back up these files to the other WD device.

I doubt you could buy a My Book Live — unless it’s surplus stock. It’s not being manufactured any more.

That’s the My Book USB Drive, not the My Book Live.
