I’m running out of space on the MyBookWorld II and would like to swap the 2x 1Tb drives with 2x 3Tb WD Caviar Green.
Is this supported?

good luck in getting the current drives out. i broke the tab to pull the hdd out as they are in very tight. plus, i think the hdds in there are formatted in special way.
No. I asked a WD technical support guy and they told me that you cannot upgrade any drives.
the logic controller of 2 tb drive can only handle two 1tb drives. You cant even put two 2 tb drives.
i am sorry for Western digital to have such poor upgrade options.
The guys out there just seem to sleep and do nothing. see how much time they take to release a firmware to correct the bugs.
So why does it say drives are replaceable in the event of failure? I find it hard to comprehend, coming from a 2nd line support background, that you cannot replace the drives…
