I have a mybook live duo 4tb raid set up and am thinking of upgrading to the MyCloud ex2 ultra. If I pull the red drives from the duo and add them to an empty ex2 ultra, will the data be safe or will it wipe it all?

The data will be wiped out. The EX2 will build a new Raid and will format the drives.
