Using Twonky/iTunes Media servers built into ShareSpace for external streaming

Is it possible to stream media from the public share using either Twonky or iTunes servers to an external user on the internet who would be using the Windows Medial player or iTunes to map the library location on the Sharespace? 

If another server is necessary to do this or if the media can only be streamed from another folder on the ShareSpace such as a private share or the download share, could someone please post the instructions to set this up?

It’s possible to do, but not recommended. Remeber that the average home connection usually has a very slow upload rate- allowing users to stream from the device over the internet would use this up very rapidly. Depending on your ISP this may cause your entire connection to slow to a crawl unless you rate limited the device, which would lead to choppy streaming at best.
