I have an annoyance, I hope you can help
First a little history: I bought one of these for my Grandad to watch films on - plugged my WD Passport in, copied all my movies onto it and vóila, all the movie FILES appear in his ‘Videos’ library and I downloaded the content info for all of them - no problems! Now when he goes into ‘Videos’, he sees all his movies with covers, synopsis et al.
My problem: Notice the emphasis above on FILES. I bought another one for my aunt the other day. Plugged my drive in, copied the movies folder to her hub. This time, oddly, the folders were all copied over too - not just the video files. This is really annoying because to get the content info for each movie, you have to go into the corresponding folder for that movie. This means she doesn’t get all the content info showing automatically for all the movies in her movie folder.
What did I do differently on the first one? My movies have always been in individual folders on my WD passport, so I must have copied them to the hubs differently both times. I’m a perfectionist and this is driving me mental! I hope someone can help!!! If anyone can, I’ll personally come give you a big hug.
