Want to allow users access to ShareSpace using FTP client software

I want to allow users access to my sharespace but not make them use the FTP command prompt to access the drive.

I have tried two different FTP clients to access the drive and none of them provide a directory listing to the remote user.

Sharespace is on static IP behind router–  Router has port 21 forwarded to the LAN IP where Sharespace is located.

Log in using command prompt works and with DIR provide directory listing but no directory with the FTP client programs or when a browser is used following the instructions in the user guide. 

Can someone help?

Try using FlashFXP. This is the client I use most often and didn’t seem to have trouble with either my ShareSpace or my My Book World drives. It also allows you to easially change options (passive mode etc.) so if you are having options you can quickly try different settings.
