Warranty Expired, RMA

Hi, Could I RMA my HDD. I bought it in October 2014 and the warranty already expired on October 2016. I thought WDC have 3 years warranty? I want to RMA since HDD have bad sector since last month.

The length of your unit’s warranty depends on your model and region. Some hard drives only include a 2-year warranty:

However, if your unit should have a 3-year warranty based on your model and region then WD Support should be able to amend your warranty for a replacement if you provide them with the purchase receipt for your hard drive.
