WD 2 TB External hard disk slow while accessing

While accessing folders having huge number of files or files with huge size, the folder is not opening.
Also the file transfer rate has drastically reduced while trying to copy files in and out the hard disk.

I tried chkdsk and it is pointing to some error. But not able to sort this issue.

Quick test failed in the WD provided data lifeguard diagnostics.

Unfortunately, all test results indicate your unit should be replaced under warranty. It is not a healthy.
