WD Blue 1TB (WD10EZEX) stops being recognized by MSI Z87 G-43

Hi there!

My computer:

  • CPU: Intel i5 4570
  • MBD: MSI Z87 G-43 with the neweset BIOS version 1.3
  • RAM: Kingston DDR3 MEM-KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX
  • HDD: WD Blue 1TB WD10EZEX [manufacturing date: 03 JUNE 2013]
  • PSU:Chieftec 450W & Supermicro 520W as a secondary for testing

The story is. My computer was working fine for more than one month. But suddenly I couldnt turn it on. It hangs on A2 code in right down corner on screen and I cant see BIOS screen even. Ive tried with another HDDs and computer works fine. My HDD works on other computers.

What I`ve tried to do:

  • BIOS update to the newest version 1.3
  • BIOS` hard reset (battery & jumpers)
  • SATA 2 compatibility by setting jumpers in HDD
  • Changing SATA cables & ports (other HDDs and DVDs works fine)
  • Changing PSU
  • Disconnecting USB panels, other drivers etc. for maximize power

Do you have any solutions? I cant even figure out what is broken because MBD and HDD works, but not when they`re together connected.

Best regards.

Solved! I had to format my HDD. Why it helps? I have no idea…
