The USB port is for computers, what if you connect the EP normally with a component/composite connection?

How are you  connecting to your TV?  Can you map your connections for us?

Actually, I think the OP is referring to an Elements external USB drive, and not an Elements Play media player.

The drive likely came formatted as NTFS, and the TV likely requires FAT32.

If that’s the case, the OP would need to download a utility for format the drive, since Windows doesn’t allow FAT32 partitions greater than 32GB, so Windows can’t be used to re-format the drive.
