WD elements Play is not working on the TV

Bought an Elements play 1 TB recently and it works perfectly on the computer. When I tried hooking it up to my TV the WD logo would show up on the screen then it will say “unable to find internal hard drive. Please check it”.  I tried resetting and reformatting it and still doesn’t read the internal hard drive when hook it up to my TV. Any suggestions on how I can fix this problem?

hadr8, maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
