Dear all,
i have this old external WD drive. Think I must have bought it about 10 years ago. I barely used it recently but had some old pictures and videos saved in it.It requires external power cord to get it working as compared to the newer versions which do not require anything like it.
Anyways to make a long story short it has completely died on me all of a sudden. I have changed the power cord just to check whether it works or not but no it has stopped making the soft humming noise which it used to make when it was working.
any suggestions please will be greatly appreciated
