WD Live Hub & 1080p - Problems after installing 3.12.13

Hello everybody, after installing firmware 3.12.13   I am experiencing an issue with HDMI output @ 1080p on my Samsung fullHD television set. Specifically, by using default configuration the displayed area is larger than the screen so I need to scale down by 95% to fit into the screen. Everything works fine when working with HDMI @ 720p.

Has anybody experience the same issue? Is there any solution to this annoying issue?

Have you tried a reset to factory defaults in the setup menu.

Are you sure that there is not a setting on your TV which is causing this.

Sounds kinda like TV “Overscan” ? 

Consult your TV User Manual and turn Overscan “OFF” (This Setting is usually located in Advanced Settings). 

(Also make sure the TV is set to 16:9)

Thanks a lot for the hint, JoeySmyth. Overscan was enabled. I’m now able to display 1080p by configuring simple scan or 16:9.

If your 1080p is not working at all then its not the same problem. The op’s 1080p was working but overscanning due to his TV setup.
