WD Live locking up when trying to play .mkv files

I did a search but can’t seem to find anything that would help me on this.

Everything seems to be working fine until you go to play the .mkv file and it just gets stuck on the screen with the rotating circle, sometimes it would get past that but it won’t play the file.  I’ve tried resetting it but that didn’t help, I havn’t changed any of the settings since the last time it worked a couple of days ago.
