WD My Cloud EX4 cannot reset to factory default

I have an EX4. 6-second or 40-second reset won’t reset the device.

The reason I wanted to do this is because I forgot the admin password. Reset (either one) will reset that for me. My problem is that none did. I have dashboard access with another non-admin user, but no admin access whatsoever.

If it helps, I believe I changed the device to use static IP and I changed the name for the admin user.

Called WD, nobody could help me. The device is out of warranty - go figure.
