WD My cloud won't connect to my router after move

Hello,

Recently my family and I moved into a new house. I purchased a new router since we were using a leased one prior to the move. I have attempted to set up my cloud in the same manner, which is connected through an ethernet cable to the router.

All I get is a flashing white light on the front of the my cloud and the Lan port in the back constantly flashes green, even if there is not a cable plugged into it. After reading some other posts I did both a 4 sec power reset and the 40-second reset and left it for 24 hours and no change. I have also powered down and restarted the modem, router and my cloud to no avail.

At this point, I can’t seem to get the my cloud past the flashing white light in front and flashing green lights in the lan ports.

What router do you have?

Something to try, did you give this new router the same User Name and Password as the leased one had? Setting it up the same as the prior one should help everything connect.
