I have my My Cloud connected to my router and am trying to access it from another laptop on my home network.  I am constantly being prompted to login with my credientials…How do I access my WD My Cloud from a laptop thats connected to my wi-fi?

You should see the NAS shares on the network from your laptop. Then you open the share, enter credentials for those shares that are priave. That’s it.
