I recently updated my system to win 8.1 . when i connect my passport ext hard disk ,i am only able to see only some files. when i check properties the used space shows same as earlier , but the files are not seen . say i had 400 GB of stored data earlier , i am only able to acess 50 GB. remaining files cannot be seen, but in file properties it still shows 400 GB as used . pls help to retrieve my old files . i tried updating driver and all but no difference
Try enabling show hidden files.
