I’m a big fan of WD products for their reliability, performance and features.
So, It’s a pity to find out that the backup software doesn’t include the .exe files (among others).
The new capacity of the My Book disks that are now measured in Tb permits to make full backups of the computer internal disks. This potential is completely ignored by the software provided.
The Smartware only backsup selected file types it doesn’t make a system image.
