why is it so difficult to sync???
im waiting about an hour for a single 10mb archive!
is there something i can do?

Are you syncing within the local network/LAN or are you syncing across the Internet?
WD Sync is what it is. If one doesn’t need to have remote syncing to a remote My Cloud then one can dump WD Sync and use a third party sync software like Free File Sync (https://www.freefilesync.org/).
If one is using WD Sync to sync to a remote My Cloud then one has to consider if their broadband connection, at both ends, are potentially limiting syncing of files.
And as always, large sized files or a large amount of small files, will take longer to sync.
