WD TV Live + My Book World Edition II + Twonky Media Server + subtitles *.sub

Hi,

I have a WD TV Live HD and a My Book World Edition II (2TB) with Twonky Media Server version 5.1.

My problem is that when I play a movie wtih subtitles *.sub via Media Server, my WD TV Live does not found the subtitles. But when I play the same movie via the Network Share, everything works fine.

Is there a way to fix it? It seems the problem comes from Twonky Media Server but any help would be much appreciated.

I don’t believe that Twonky supports these subtitles.

…the WDTV doesn’t support EXTERNAL subtitles when streamed via MediaServers.    Very few DLNA devices do (though some do.)

You’ll need to either use a Network Share, or re-mux the file and put the subtitle track IN the file.
