Hi, 

i have a problem, i connect an USB hub with 3 external WD elements harddisks (2.5 , 3 and 3TB) full of my content, but the player see only 2 of them…is there a limit of harddisks You can connect? 

With the Wd element play 2TB was possible to see 3 and more HDs…

If you connect the drive that is not showing by itself, does it appears?

The drive that is not showing, is a elements portable or a desktop unit?

Are you using a wall powered USB Hub? I have 4 drives connected to my powered USB hub and all the drives are also wall powered and the USB hub is connected to the front USB port on the WDSMP and all works fine. Something about the rear port it doesn’t like when doing this.

By the way, if you are using the same type hard drive (WD, Seagate, etc. ) be sure to rename them differently.

Example: WDwhaterever type drive (add movies or tv shows or something) works for me.
