Hi, a have a win7 ultimate pc with Samsung Allshare installed. My wdtv Live can’t see the Samsung Allshare DNLA server. The server is ok, working with my Samsung c5700 LEd tv. If I install another DNLA server (Mezzmo) then is everything ok with my WDTV. Is any limitations on the Samsung software to work only with Samsung devices?
As far as I can see, other than to Samsung TV’s, both devices need to be running AllShare… if you want to send from a PC to a phone, then both the PC and the phone must be running AllShare.
I don’t think AllShare is a true DLNA server, despite them calling it that, because all I can find is posts from folks who can’t get AllShare to send to XBox, to PS3, to…
It isn’t DLNA certified, according to the DLNA website…
Many of their TVs are, but the software package is not.
