WDTV live hub not showing up on mac share side panel

Ok. so ive read as much as i can on any relative posts and have not found any solutions. i want to make it clear that there was a time that the device worked properly and has only just recently begun to stop working.

im running mac osx 10.7.5

i have the tv hub connected to my network via a wireless ethernet adaptor which i have already reset and reconfigured to the network. on the network connection status i get all green check marks so i know its configured.  the problem is that i dont see the device on the computer side of the netowrk where i was able to drag and drop files wirelessly. ive already change the name of the workgroup on both the computer and the hub. i also changed the name of the hub itself. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

Did you try mapping the drive on the Mac?

I would have, except that it isnt even showing up as a network device to choose, thus making it impossible to do so. thanks for the reply.
