I have a set of DAT video files, which I usually play from my external USB drive.
When I moved to new MyBook Live NAS, these filese are not being displayed in Video section.
Can anyone help pls.
How are you trying to play these dat files. Is it via the twonky server or network shares.
I am selecting Media Servers > then MyBookLive Twonkey media server.
If I play by Network Shares, then I can play.
This makes me think that Twonkey has got some retriction to what it will support .
Also I noticed when I went through Twonkeym, WDTV Live was not showing the media type, which was shown with Network Shares.
Yeah, you MIGHT be able to get away with changing the file extenstion to reflect what it really IS. (AVI, MPG, MKV, MP4, whatever.)
