I have had this product 2 weeks (it has 1.05.47 on it) and am finding it slow and flaky to the point of frustration. In particular the iPlayer app is miserably slow and hangs and freezes seemingly randomly (it’s fine on my other computers). Occasionally if I leave it 5 or more minutes it will unknot itself but at other times it won’t. What it will never do properly is exit - whatever I press - and I have to turn it off and on again to get out of the app. The youtube app sometimes freezes with a black screen too, requiring a hard reset. I’m at the stage where I’m tempted to send it back for a refund but if a new firmware is due out any time soon I’ll hang on and give that a try first. Any news on when that may be?

If you’re concerned about getting stuck with the device, then I would return it.
