Where are my files?

My Cloud OS 3 Personal & Network Attached Storage My Cloud

I moved out of state & had to disconnect my cloud. I reconnected it, everything shows it is properly loaded but I cannot find my files.

If I go to windows explorer (what use to be windows explorer I have windows 8) I can locate my cloud in the left column list but when I click on it it shows no files.

Where are my files?

BTW The icon for my cloud appears in more than one place in the left hand column but nowhere are therer any files.

Has your IP changed when you moved out of State?

Is your router set on DHCP?

Did your My Cloud have a Static IP before you moved?

Have you tried a “System Only Restore”? or has your firmware updated since you moved?

Are you using your network devices to view the My Cloud or are you using a previous Mapped Drive?

you should see 2 myclouds in the left column in file explorer, 1 is the shared files, the other is the DLNA server. 

try the Windows or mobil WD mycloud app, see if you can see the files here

any recent changes to the mycloud? FW upgrade? restore etc?

did routers, switches etc move with you?

if you are not sure on the networking do a 4 second reset which will switch it to DHCP and reset your password

The folders all appear to be empty:cry:
