Why can't I see my files?

I have been copying my Picture files across to my My Cloud 3TB, I can see these on my associated iPhone and iPad, however, I can only see some of the files on my PC using the WD My Cloud App. I get a message saying ‘No files in this folder’

I know they are there as I can see them on my iPad.

Is this a known fault or am I doing something wrong?

You have the share mounted in explorer? How are you copying the files?

Thanks for the reply.

I am copying them from a folder on my mac into the WD My Cloud App.

Try accessing the folders directly to see if the files are there.  To do this on a Mac, goto “Go” > “Connect to Server” > address would be smb://[ipaddress of device

Thanks for your reply.

I can see the files by using my iPhone, iPad, WD Quick view and Finder on my Mac. Knowing they are there is not the problem…

The problem is with the WD Mycloud App on my iMac and Macbook Air…it flatly refuses to show any files inside the directory structure.

Are the permissions for the My Cloud app for a user that is allowed access to those files?
