Hello guys.
I signed up to vent my frustration. My old wireless adapter Dlink DWA-130 didn’t work, so after I found out there is a compatibility list, i went out and bought DWA-140. I plug it into my WD TV Live box and nothing, no light, the device can’t even see it. I am like **bleep** is going on. So i did more Googling and found out that only version DWA-140 version 1.3 is compatible but mine is DWA-140 version 2.0
Sure it’s partly my fault for not being more careful but come on, I never encounters a device that is so restricted on the adapters it can use.
Will WD ever expand the list of compadible adapers?
Can that be done through a fireware upgrade? Or is that physically not possible?
Is there hope for me in waiting for a possible upgrade? or do I have to spend more more?
