Before the latest firmware I was able to stream HD-movies (8-9 GB per file) wireless to my WD Tv Live Hub without any problems. Now after the firmware, it’s impossible to do without the movies stutter. I am now only able to stream smaller movie files (4-5 GB per file) without issues.
Are any of you able to stream HD-content wireless without any problems or should I expect the need for use of a cable from MyBookLive to WD TV Live Hub if I want to see HD-content? I mean, what wireless streaming-speed should I expect from this product?
Oh dear God, the transfer speed is approximately 60 Kbps! It will take 10 hours to transfer a 4gb file.

The MBL doesn’t do wireless. I’m confused what you mean.
It’s connected to the router by cable but since it’s a NAS it’s able to communicate with both my computer and WD Tv Live Hub wireless.
I have my laptop and MyBookLive 3Tb wire-connected to the same router and the copying speed I am getting is only about 2Mb/s. I have downloaded the latest firmware for MBL. How I wish they put a USB port on MBL so I can do a local copy.
Search this forum for “WebDAV.” See if your PC is connecting via WebDAV instead of the standard way.
yes - USB 3 transferring at 50megabytes/sec versus 10megabytes via lan. it’s a big miss; what were they thinking?
