Working iOS app for streaming photos to WD Live (Gen3)?

Hi,

Does anyone know a good iOS app (Renderer Controller) for streaming photos from an iOS device through DLNA to the WD TV Live (Gen3)?

Sitecom app is working well, except that when browsing from one photo to the other, WD TV Live is displaying the default backroung inbetween.

Other apps are not really stable or have bigger issues than this one.

Thanks

Redine

You can use Twonky Beam to do this over DLNA. mike27oct has written several very informative posts on using the app with WD Devices that you can search for in these forums.

If you manually choose each picture, you will see your device’s background inbetween pictures. If you setup a queue for a slide show, it wil just be a black screen inbetween showing them.

I’ve been using it for months on a gen3 iPad, and now I can report it also works great for my new Android tablet, the “best-bang-for-the-buck” Kindle Fire HD 7".  This toy removes any excuses for not buying a tablet yet.  Awesome for the on-sale price now of $159.
