Is there a plan to add add Youtube subscriptions to the WD Live player? Without this capability accessing Youtube content is highly cumbersome. Thank you.

As always no one who knows about actual WD plans can comment on them but I would think it would be highly unlikely this would ever happen. You can, of course, put this suggestion into the Ideas lab (tab above) after first searching to see if it’s already been suggested (and vote for it if so).

Only based on the track record – right now WD seems to ONLY be fixing bugs with the Live (my own guess is that they are working on another media player to replace it). Added features seem almost non-existent and this one seems pretty low down on “need” (trust me – there are other, far more serious issues they have yet to address and may never).
