I couldn’t find a section for the WD site, portal, warranty, or RMA issues so I was hoping a WD person could answer my question or someone could point me in the right direction at least.
I have a 3TB WD Red drive that has gone bad at one of our office locations that is still under warranty. When I tried to open an advanced RMA the site tells me that the shipping and billing addresses do not match. This seems a very strange limitation since surely WD has tons of drives in datacenters and remote offices in which the requestor does not reside? Any ideas or suggestions?
