When I open WD Discovery it tells me that a new version is available. Current version is 2.1.378 and a new version 2.2.408 is available. So I ‘click here’ to update, it downloads, then Windows asks if I want allow the app to make changes. All good so far. Then WD Discovery comes back and says it can’t update while WD discovery is open so I have close all open apps. But the update is being driven from WD Discovery so when I close it the update stops, and when I re-open it, it doesn’t continue it just asks if I want to update again and it starts again new as if nothing happened.

So I try a manual update, but if you go to the WD website the version online is 1.3.5949.
