Saludos mi problema es el siguiente compre el wd tv live hub  pero no c como puedo conectarlo a  mi pc mediante cable red

(por medio al modem no es factible por que esta demaciado lejos )

si alguien por favor me ayudara se lo agtradeceria estoy cansado de buscar links en internet y no logro como dar con el asunto… :s lo que quiero hacer es poder pasar mis archivos de la pc al hdd del wdtv

You just want to move your files from the PC to the Hub? Using Ethernet cable, or the network is not possible/feasable?

To move files onto the Hub without Networking requires you to have a USB Hard Drive. External or USB Key Dongle. Once you plug them in, DO NOT SYNC. Navigate to the files you want to copy to the HUB. Press Options. Choose Select Multiple, Copy or Move. If you have selected multiple files, choose Continue, then Choose Copy or Move. This will bring up the “Select a destination Screen” For me, the first says “Internal Storage”, Press OK on the remote. Then Select the Partition. For me, it is WDTVLiveHub.  Navigate to where you want to store your files/folders. Once you are there Highlight the “Place Here” and press OK on the remote. It may or may not ask to confirm. If it does, do so.

i need to buy another hdd  to use the wdhd hub :S ?  you  know how to connect the hub to the pc via network  direct *(hub to pc ) my os is windows 7  sp1

You need ethernet cable, between hub and pc. Or ethernet cable between hub and router and then again between router and pc. Then you need WD Link Program found here in espanol or here in english. Or you could use WD Discovery Tool, found here at Softpedia; english or espanol. This is needed to allow windows to find the hub on the network. From there you can map the internal HDD. Or just browse the internal HDD in a folder.

Do you have a small keychain usb storage device? something that can hold your movies? 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB etc? Because you can put your files from the pc on that and then plug it into hub, then copy/move them to the hub’ internal hdd too.

yeah i have a 1gb usb  but i have files up to 32 gb :x anyways i figure out how to connect the hub and the pc   here the vid tutorial if help anybody… sorry for my bad english and thank you very much  digitalnegative
