Backing up WDMyCloud EX4 to WDMyCloudEX4100

I have recently purchased an EX4100. I am attempting to backup my existing EX4 to the new EX4100. I have almost 8Tb of data and i don’t want to copy/paste. I have enabled Remote Backup Server on both. I have enabled SSH on both and set the same very simple password for admin, sshd and remote backup. As i understand it. In order to create a job that copies existing files to a new system… you must create the job from the system where the files to be backed up are. In this case, the files are on the EX4, so I am creating the job from there. I keep getting the following error “Invalid Remote Backup Password. Try again.” the remote backup password is “test”… it can’t get any simpler.

wdex4 is running - 2.12.127
wdex4100 is running - 5.16.105

please help.

I would be doing a NAS to USB backup to a external USB disk FIRST

them try the remote apps which even them may not be much faster than a USB disk copy and reload.

I split the shares to two 4 TB mybooks as few 8TB in my store

For a really slow process - I tried having both system connected to windows 10 and used WS access
folder by folder copy.
