Backup an network drive to my remote My Cloud on win 10
I can only get to use the local drive on my pc
It is not clear what is your question is. Are you asking; how to backup a computer to a remote My Cloud?
If so the My Cloud does not officially have remote access capabilities other than those provided by; the WD Sync software, WD Desktop software, MyCloud.com web portal, and FTP. Smartware does NOT currently offer the capability to backup to a remote My Cloud. FTP is NOT a secure protocol.
The question of how to backup to a remote My Cloud has been discussed in several prior threads in this subforum. You should read through one or more of those threads to gain an understanding of the unofficial methods one can use to try and backup their computer to a remote My Cloud. Or try using an alternate OS on the My Cloud:
blockquote, div.yahoo_quoted { margin-left: 0 !important; border-left:1px #715FFA solid !important; padding-left:1ex !important; background-color:white !important; } Thanks. I’ve been participating in those threads. I have ticket open with WD because WD Sync is not working.
