the last player i had looked the same and the latest firmware it had messed up some of the movies . as if the firmware had changed the way it read my files and not reading from the xml any more. so i deleted my cache file and reloaded same so i loaded the previous firmware which did not have the new Rotten tomatoes rating . and i was fixed. I also posted on here and recieved no response as to what had changed so i could fix the new issue.
now with this new piece " " the firmware that came with the player as did the latest now 1.02.17 does the same thing.
i did use MKVmerge and change the title of the movie and it displayed properly.
someone who actually knows could reply as to why there was a change and could it be put back or some naming software out there that helps. i already use WDTBHUB GEN for all my xmls and it works perfectly . I won’t use the one in our player as it doesn’t display the date of the movies when it downloads it automatically.
thanks as always these players are by far the best on the market. just would like some insight as to why things are being changed with no change log explaining the reason is for accuracy or some other use.
