Bought the 3TB my book live turn out to be 2TB my book

I checked the serial number on the box and the my book live drive and they are the same. The box say it was a 3TB my book live. I bought it a week ago. But today I just check and it only say 1.8. Not 3TB. Anyone know what should I do. I bought them on http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ and they are closed today til sunday. So can’t get any help from them.

Anyone have this problem before?? Anything I can do to check to make sure, refresh buttons or something?? Any sugession?

Login via SSH and issue the following command

hdparm -qi /dev/sda

and post the full output.

I don’t know how to do that. I think you have to give me step by step instruction
