Cannot map Mybook on new PC

I had Mybook World Edition (white light) hooked to my laptop running Windows 7 32 bit. I then wanted to centralize my router in my entertainment room with my other equipment so I moved my router. Everything worked fine except when I went to hook up Mybook, the new desktop PC would not map the drive. It runs Windows 7 64-bit edition. When I go into the networok page and have it map the network, it sees the Mybook in the network, along with my other devices plugged into my router that are on (like my Smart TV for example).

I have reset the hard drive to its default settings and it still cannot be mapped. I can get into the hard drive using my web browser. It is updated to the latest firmware.

Any suggestions?

Make sure your computer has all latest updates from Microsoft.  You may also check that your computer, and the My Book World, are both configured to the same Workgroup.

try this

\mybookworld and right click on the folder you want to map

make sure internet security and firewall is not blocking

also, make sure you are using the default browser for the pc

you can also try from the search bar on windows
