When trying to connect via internet, after logging in I get “Can’t connect to WDMyCloud” asking me to check that the cloud is powered on (it is, I can connect via local network) and to check for firmware updates (updated daily but checked again - updated).
Than it says to contact WD support so here I am.
Thanks.
Have you enabled Cloud Access in the My Cloud Dashboard > Settings?
Read the section in the User Manual or Dashboard embedded Help that covers how to setup Cloud Access on the My Cloud.

Sometimes just disabling Cloud Access in the Dashboard Settings, waiting a few minutes, then re-enabling it solves the no remote access issue.
Thanks.
All that was needed was to shut down the remote access, wait for a minute and turn it back on.
Easy.
BUT, it’s a huge bug cause when I need it, I’m not next to it and can do it!
I wish it would be fixed.
Not having (official) remote access to the single bay My Cloud Dashboard has been an occasional complaint for years.
Unoffically there are some methods one can use to gain access to a remote My Cloud to reset the Cloud Access option, but they all require one to setup the My Cloud or the local network ahead of time. VPN is one such method. Using SSH is probably another.
