Can't upload or download from the app

I know this is being redundant, and I’m preaching to the chore, but the new OS 5 mobile app ■■■■■. I can’t upload files to or download files from via the app. Basically all you can do with it is backup images, and even that they limit you to a share. The old app I could manage the backup, put them where I wanted, create additional subfolders etc…Not this POS. I can only backup up to a share, and I have multiple mobile devices all the same make/model (I do that on purpose so everyone has the exact same phone). If I set the backup to the same share, all of the images get backed up to the exact same location ALL mixed together and I can’t separate them. Before I had subfolders in that share and they all backed up to their one folder. But now I have to have individual shares.

I’ve been a loyal WD user for several years. This is my third NAS, but no more. Once the warranty runs out, I’ll find a new NAS to switch to. I’m actually thinking of building my own, and dropping the propriety ■■■■.

I just upgraded to OS5 and have the same problem. Literally all I want to do from the App is upload photos from my Android phone and my wife’s iPhone to the MyCloud, and now I see no way to do that. Seems to be a worthless App now.
