Connecting MyBook to MyCloud EX2 USB

I have connected my MyBook drive to the My Cloud EX2 Ultra USB port but in the My Cloud Admin panel the top USB icon tells me there are no USB drives connected.
If I go to shares I can actually add a share folder and select the MyBook drive to create a share folder on but it creates a share folder based on the remaining space on the drive and does not show the current or original files on the drive I wish to access.

I just want to plug in MyBook to the back of the MyCloud EX2 Ultra USB and have access to the MyBook files that are currently on that drive. How do I do this?

What firmware are you running on the EX2?

Have you tried resetting the EX2 and trying to connect the My book again? If not, please try that using the a reset button on the back of the unit.
